About Jackson Web

The Jackson Web began in 1996 as an collaborative effort between University Computers, the City of Jackson, and the Jackson Chamber of Commerce.  In 1998, University Computers sold their interest in the Jackson Web to FAQulty and Staff.  In 2006, FAQulty and Staff changed their name to LESCO after the City of Jackson and the Jackson Chamber of Commerce left the Jackson Web to form their own independent web sites.  LESCO continues to be the administrator of the Jackson Web.

With the continued support of the local businesses, the Jackson Web is able to provide free links and free pages to local non-profit organizations, local churches, and local schools.  Hosting and updates are free of charge to the clubs and institutions that are the basis for the great reputation of the Jackson, Missouri, community.
